Throw Away Those Tatty Printouts!
One way to get your 8000 Series working to its full potential is to put your screens to work. Frames and advertising will inform, educate and entice your guests. Long gone are the days for tatty printouts on the wall!
To get the most out of on screen digital advertising we recommend talking with your designer about what you would like to achieve. It could be about brand awareness or to increase sales of a certain product.
So what happens next after your designer has created some custom advertising? Getting your custom advertising and frames on screen is super easy. Just have the pictures formatted at 1920 x 1080 and saved as a .jpg file onto a clean USB drive and insert the drive into the Orange Door system.
Go to the “Menu” and select “Display Settings”. Select the “Import/Remove pictures and videos” button. Then select “Add Pictures/videos”. Select the pictures in the right hand pane then click “OK”. The system will ask for the folder name to save the pictures in or “Add to” an existing folder. Once copied from the USB drive, add the images to your advertising playlist through the “Video screen setting” function.
From there simply schedule them to get the best possible saturation and watch the sales roll in. If you want to find out more about custom advertising feel free to call one of our customer support team who would be more than happy to help you through the setup process.
Note… depending on your system AV setup the image format size may differ. Please call Orange Door support for advice.
Congratulations Luis Fonsi!
Puerto Rican superstar Luis Fonsi is set to receive the Trailblazer Award by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation at their annual award show. He cementing himself at the top of the charts for 16 weeks with his hit track Despacito featuring fellow superstars Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber.
“As Latinos continue to make an impact across all fields and industries, Luis Fonsi has made an indelible impression on America and across the globe through his music overall and, specifically, his record-setting single ‘Despacito,’” said José Antonio Tijerino, president and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation.
New Drake On The Way!
During his OVO Fest set in August though, Drake told the audience: “I’m going to go back to making this new album in Toronto, just for you”. Drake shared photos of him working in his home studio on Instagram, possibly preparing to unleash new music to the world since dropping off More Life earlier this year.
In November, Drake will be heading out for New Zealand and Australia to take his Boy Meets World tour overseas, but before then (fingers crossed), we may get some new material from the international superstar.
Once Upon A Time In Shaolin
Martin Shkreli, aka “pharma bro” selling the sole copy of a one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album. After buying Once Upon A Time In Shaolin… in late 2015 in an auction set up by Wu-Tang co-founder and producer RZA, Shkreli has posted the album on eBay.
Shkreli encourages the buyer of Once Upon A Time In Shaolin… to do something he has yet to do — release the music on the internet. Shkreli hopes “someone with a bigger heart for music can be found for this one-of-a-kind piece and makes it available for the world to hear.”
Shkreli will be donating half of the sale proceeds to medical research.
