Throw Away Those Tatty Printouts!

One way to get your Orange Door working to its full potential is to put your screens to work.

Frames and advertising will inform, educate and entice your guests. Long gone are the days for tatty printouts on the wall!

To get the most out of on screen digital advertising we recommend talking with your designer about what you would like to achieve. It could be about brand awareness or to increase sales of a certain product.

So what happens next after your designer has created some custom advertising? Getting your custom advertising and frames on screen is super easy. Just have the pictures formatted at 1920 x 1080 and saved as a .jpg file onto a clean USB drive and insert the drive into the Orange Door system.

Go to the “Menu” and select “Display Settings”. Select the “Import/Remove pictures and videos” button. Then select “Add Pictures/videos”. Select the pictures in the right hand pane then click “OK”. The system will ask for the folder name to save the pictures in or “Add to” an existing folder. Once copied from the USB drive, add the images to your advertising playlist through the “Video screen setting” function.

From there simply schedule them to get the best possible saturation and watch the sales roll in. If you want to find out more about custom advertising feel free to call one of our customer support team who would be more than happy to help you through the setup process.

Note… depending on your system AV setup the image format size may differ. Please call Orange Door support for advice.

2 Things We Really, Really Want From the Spice Girls

Appearing on Emma Bunton’s Heart FM breakfast radio show on Wednesday, Mel B, Mel C and Geri Horner spoke about their hopes for the Reunion Tour, with Scary Spice Mel revealing that the group will be recording new material in the near future, telling Emma’s co-host Jamie Theakston: “Yes, we are recording an album.” However, it remains to be seen whether or not Mel’s statement is true, as her bandmate Mel C jumped in and hit back: “She’s fibbing!”

However, Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, will not be joining her bandmates on The Reunion Tour. “I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year,” Beckham wrote. “I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!”

The Spice Girls were launched in 1994. Their 1996 debut single – Wannabe – proved an instant hit, hitting the No.1 spot in 37 countries – including Ireland. They’ve sold 85 million records globally, a tally that makes them the best-selling girl group of all time.

TOP 3 TIPS FOR THIS MONTH
  1. Staff incentives I will be putting many great ideas in the newsletters in coming issues and here is this month’s staff incentive, “You Clean We Clean” is a classic that never fails to please. Yourself or your team manager chooses on a monthly basis the staff member who has been best at cleaning, and “We clean their house”. Cost will be about $50- 60 and the staff love it. You could also use this in “PIMP My Ride” fashion – maybe you know a good work shop for a service, paintjob or just a mega groom. Whatever you do… reward great people for helping you archive your goals.

  2. Card Plus, We always get an increase from this wee tactic. If you use stamp cards for coffee, make sure they have a position on the card to fill out contact details, and go into a draw for something once its full. This makes the card worth more, as there are so many cards these days. Plus it gives your customer a reason to finish it off and claim the free coffee AND it also gets you some info like name, number and workplace, email etc.

  3. A suggestive up sell winner, Offer a $1.00 cookie upgrade on all your coffee sales….if it’s late night trade you are in to, you can also do this with wine sales. People love a good offer like this so make their day with a nice extra. You can get some small muffins or cookies from your local supermarket cheap as chips or sell your own stock from the day if you sell that kind of thing.
Keep the questions coming and have a great profitable month.
