Load playlists in the order you build them.

If you are having an event or simply want a list played in a particular way, follow this easy guide…

  1. Create the list in the Create/Edit Playlist “generator” screen. Create the tracks in the order you want them played.
  2. Go back to the main screen and find the shuffle buttons (the right one is the “Auto Shuffle” button which should be left ON for normal operation).
  3. Click to turn OFF the right hand “Auto Shuffle” button (OFF is grey, ON is orange)
  4. Load your list and it should appear in the order created.
That’s it!! Easy as 1-3-2-4 (Pun intended). Just remember to turn the “Auto Shuffle” button back ON for subsequent list loading.

Eminem Seeks Attention With Surprise Release

Eminem surprised the world with the unannounced release of ‘Kamikaze‘, loaded with controversial moments and taking aim at many others with a number of ‘diss tracks‘. Those being dissed on the album are Drake, Machine Gun Kelly, Vince Staples, Joe Budden, DJ Akademiks, Lil Yachty, Lil Pump and Lil Xan.

Now Dan Reynolds from Imagine Dragons, himself a vocal gay rights activist, has hit out at Eminem for using homophobic language on the track Fall. Among them was Tyler, The Creator – who comes under attack by being called a “homophobic slur on the track, having previously slated Eminem for releasing the ‘Shady XV’ compilation album in 2014. “It’s never ok to say a word that is filled with hate,” wrote Reynolds.

New Music From Avril Lavigne Incoming

Avril Lavigne is ready to return to the spotlight with the release of her first song from her long-awaited new album later this month. The Sk8er Boi singer hasn’t released any new music since 2015, after she went public with her battle with Lyme disease, and she has continued to work on her sixth studio project while battling the illness.

Now Avril has announced the wait is over – Head Above Water will be out on 19 September 2018 😀

Kanye West Backs Off Drake

Kanye West has reached out to Drake on Twitter to apologise for their ongoing feud. The beef between the two rappers peaked when Pusha T disses Drake on the track Infrared, which was produced and co-written by Kanye. Drake responded to them both on Duppy Freestyle, and Pusha hit back with The Story of Adidon, in which he claimed Drake had a secret lovechild, something he later confirmed was true.

In a series of tweets posted on Wednesday, he apologised for releasing his album Ye the same month as Drake’s Scorpion and for dropping a proposed Drake feature from his song Lift Yourself. “Since we were building as friends and brothers I should have spoken to Pusha about the Quentin Miller bar. There should have been no songs with my involvement that had any negative energy towards you. I never listened to either diss track that followed but I did hear quotes from both songs after they were released.”

Kanye added: “This is all Jedi level. I will be coming to your show within the next seven days to give love and be inspired by the art you have created.”

Where do you start when your business stalls?
I would start with three simple campaigns running together
  1. Awareness Campaign “Have you BEEN here YET?” or “Have you SEEN IT?” This kind of campaign does motivate and it does get talk in the market place.
  2. Famous Campaign – What are you famous for? What is your famous FOOD item and time frame to get that offer? What is your brand promise?
  3. The third would be Campaign for a Time Frame – normally 5pm to 7pm or nights like Friday TGIF, or maybe it’s the Sunday Session – which ever you choose, work it well.
The Awareness Campaign would be in the form of Facebook or mail drops. The campaign must have a “draw card element” to draw people to you.

Also take your awareness offer outside the normal places – eg local area sports clubs, retirement homes, bowls clubs and the like – many of them look for day trips like this for their members, and normally early week. I also talk to and send info to bus companies and taxis, as they often like to have information on local events.

The Famous is very important. My “Tiger Thai Tuesdays” have been huge over the years. I have also introduced the “Tiger Experience” which is three Asian style chicken kebabs and two tiger beers for a great prize – and with three kebabs someone is sure to order another round.

Time Frame Promotions are another winner but you will need to really look over the business to find its dead timelines and design a winning formula to suit. Normally work place is the number one prime time to win, but with good research maybe it’s the Big Brunch with waffles and fresh fruit or the amazing Seafood Sunday that will best help you fill some seats.
Keep the questions coming and have a great profitable month.
