Halsey teamed up with upcoming UK rapper Stefflon Don and Big Sean in the music video for her track “Alone” this week. The video depicts Halsey walking into a very glamorous party where she spots what one would assume is her ex-lover with what looks to be Halsey’s doppelganger from her previous video for her track “Now Or Never”.
The track is then complimented by verses from the ever-reliable Big Sean followed by Stefflon Don. With previous superstar collaborations followed up by her stunningly crafted solo work it’s evident that Halsey is fixing to be a well established artist for many years to come. You can catch “Alone” and all her previous hits on your Orange Door system today!
Thank You For This Selena Gomez!
The Weeknd has performed a consecutive threepeat with the release of his 6 track mini-album “My Dear Melancholy” debuting at number 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week. The album managed to cultivate 170,000 sales and streams in its first week and is his third album in a row to debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200. Followed up closely by a Lyric Video for his track “Call Out My Name” the album is the usual type of sound you would expect from The Weeknd with eerie-sounding reverb and signature vocal filters heavy throughout.
If you’re after some smooth vocals and trippy visuals search for “Call Out My Name” on your Orange Door system now!
Wu-Tang In Court
Members of the infamous underground Hip-Hop group Wu-Tang Clan are being sued. Photographer Warren Patterson is taking on Wu-Tang over alleged copyright infringement for photos he took that were supposedly used without consent by the group.
The photos in question are of the infamous one-of-a-kind album “Once Upon a Time in Shaolin”, previously owned by former pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli who has been sentenced to jail time and forced to forfeit the album after losing a securities fraud case in court. Wu-Tang are being sued for copyright infringement and a minimum of $1 million in damages.
