I'm a mixtape Morty, I'm mixtape Rick!!!
US rapper Logic has launched promo for his latest mixtape in style with a 2 minute trailer featuring well-known cartoon characters Rick and Morty.
In the video Rick complains to Morty that he doesn’t want to listen “album Logic” and much prefers “mixtape Logic” due to the fact he wants something he can “turn-up” while driving as opposed to the deep concepts normally tackled by the rapper. The trailer finishes with a preview of a song presumably off the mixtape and the title of the mixtape “Bobby Tarantino II” stylized in the same way as the Rick and Morty logo.
Bobby Tarantino II releases March 9, in the meantime you can catch Logic’s latest release Everyday alongside producer Marshmello on your Orange Door system right now!
Snow Patrol Incoming
Scottish band Snow Patrol have announced their first album in 7 years after a lengthy hiatus. Confirmed to consist of 10 tracks the album titled “The Wildness” is set to drop on May 25.
Best known for their worldwide hit “Chasing Cars” in 2006 which was nominated for Best Rock Song at the 2007 Brit Awards, their previous release, 2011’s “Fallen Empires” charted in the top 5 in both the UK and US. The announcement also came with a preview trailer released on Youtube featuring what we presume is a preview of a song set to be on the album.
